Blast From the Past!

I found this complete set of Bugs in Bottles blocks in a plastic bag at the bottom of my oldest plastic storage box during my studio re-organisation. I taught the quilt at Darwin CAE to one of my very first (and favourite) classes.
The question is, "What do I do now? Go ahead and finish the quilt or put them away and move on?"
I'm thinking it would be nice to finish it quickly the offer it as a raffle quilt.

  2. Finish it of course!! Otherwise when you look at it you will feel guilty instead of quilty. LOL!!!THe blocks are great.

If you don't want to keep it, make smaller quilts and donate to charity for children...

OR if you think you just don't have time (or inclination) to finish them, but don't want to waste them, donate them to a local charity group who make quilts for children. They will love them and you will feel good that they the bugs are being used and loved.

  3. Finish it - it's not like you still have to piece the blocks...

  4. Thanks girls, it looks like I'll just have to finish it then. I found a photo of the original one I made and amazingly I've set the blocks out almost identically! The original had a paper-pieced orange cat in the top section where the block is lying on its side. (Didn't have a digital camera then so no photo.)
