Spirals

I know, I've been really slack with the posting...
I was having coffee with some friends last week and noticed this amazing spiral palm leaf mutation. Luckily I had the camera with me and I took a few photos. I've included a couple here.

I love spirals and my trademark machine quilting motif is a circular or rectangular free motion spiral design.

The one below was quite small and very tightly coiled a bit like a fern frond.
